Terry Pratchett

Crime and mysteryFantasyChildren’sPolice proceduralComic fantasyMiddle-grade fantasy

Terry Pratchett's Discworld is a flat world on the backs of four elephants and a turtle, and its 41 novels use comic fantasy to say serious things about people. Readers often follow one strand: the wizards, the witches, Death, the City Watch, Tiffany Aching or Moist von Lipwig.

Best estimate, compiled from series guides, publisher descriptions and reviews where available, and from memory otherwise. Book level only, not chapter level. Minor includes cameos and brief references. Each book carries a confidence rating in its tooltip. Good Omens, written with Neil Gaiman, appears on both pages. Lord Vetinari and Death appear briefly in many more books than shown.
